Events to Allow Students to Explore Potential Career Options

Both Ormsby Education Center with Erie 2- Chautauqua- Cattaraugus BOCES and Potter Career & Technical Center with Erie 1 BOCES will be holding an open house in October to allow interested students to learn more about their programs. In addition, WNY Service Academy Night will be held for students interested in applying to one of the service academies. 

Potter Career & Technical Center will be holding their open house on Thursday, October 3 from 5-7 p.m. at 705 Potter Road, West Seneca, NY. 

Ormsby Education Center will hold their open house on Wednesday, October 9 from 6-8 p.m. at 1010 Center Street, East Aurora, NY. 

Career and Technical Education teaches students skills, professional practices and knowledge in a specific trade that will set them up for success in college and the workforce. Both centers have programs that are available to juniors and seniors at Holland Central Schools. 

WNY Service Academy Night will be held on Tuesday October 8 at 6 p.m. at Williamsville South High School. Students will be able to meet representatives from the Service Academies: U.S. Military Academy U.S. Naval Academy U.S. Air Force Academy U.S. Merchant Marine Academy U.S. Coast Guard Academy Army and Navy R.O.T.C.
