Mrs. DeMario

  • Mrs. DeMario teaches Regents Chemistry, Regents Physics, and AP/ECC Chemistry at Holland High School. She received her associate's degree in Chemical Technology from Alfred State, her bachelor's degree in Chemistry Secondary Education with a minor in Biology from Geneseo State College, a minor in Physics from Empire State College, and her master's degree in Education from the University at Buffalo. Mrs. DeMario left the chemical technology field to go into teaching because she was looking for a field that incorporated chemistry, people, and safety in one profession. She has been teaching at Holland since 1998 and in her current role since 2005.

Mrs. DeMario’s favorite thing about teaching in Holland is the ability to teach the three courses she teaches to attentive students. When she is not in the classroom, Mrs. DeMario owns a farm where they raise beef, make maple syrup and grow grapes for wine production.
