This dance-fitness party combines half an hour of exotic rhythms such as salsa, tango, belly dance, and reggae ton, along with half an hour of high energy musical hits from yesterday and today that are sure to get you moving and grooving. No experience necessary. This class is fun and easy to do.

Zumba®Gold is based on the same dance moves used in the original Zumba class. The gold class, however, is less intense, with dance routines designed for beginners and older adults using modified movements. Zumba®Gold was designed to teach the basic dance steps to anyone and provides an appropriate workout for those just beginning a fitness program and those looking to have a great time! Start your day off right by joining us in a gentle yoga practice. We will work on focused breath and bring in slow movement to wake up the body and prepare for the day. Yoga has long been recognized as a path to inner peace and as an excellent way to boost strength, balance and flexibility. It is also a practice of awareness designed to quiet your mind and help you connect with your innermost self. Participants need to bring their own yoga mat.

With the emphasis on core strength and stability, your child will be introduced to a host of age appropriate strength and multi-directional speed exercises that will not only increase strength and agility, but balance and spatial awareness as well. Educating your child how to execute movement patterns and deceleration techniques are the key factors during this phase and will prepare your child systematically for their future fitness and athletic goals, as well as decrease their chance for injury.

This 10 week program is designed to accommodate participants of all ages and fitness levels. The course will be focused on building strength and toning muscles with the use of your own body as well as a variety of other pieces of equipment. Each class will be a total body workout to ensure that all muscles are properly targeted, while simultaneously engaging in cardiovascular activities; thus creating the perfect combination for fat loss. Each participant is asked to wear sneakers/comfortable clothing and to bring their own mat and towel.

Lifeguard training OR Waterfront Lifeguard training

Each prepares its students for a different lifeguarding environment with various difficulty levels. Before you enroll in a certification course, it’s best to first decide on the aquatic setting where you want to work. Then you won’t have to pass another course to get additional qualifications later.

Lifeguard Training This is the certification you need to work at a typical pool. This course incorporates a blended learning format with online training sessions, classroom skills and water rescue activities. · 2 year American Red Cross certificate in Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR/AED (waterfront lifeguarding can be added on at a later time for a fee) Waterfront Lifeguard The Waterfront Lifeguard certification course incorporates both the Lifeguarding course with the Waterfront skills module. The purpose of the Waterfront skills module is to teach lifeguards the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to emergencies in non-surf, open-water areas found at public parks, resorts, summer camps and campgrounds. This course incorporates a blended learning format with online training sessions, classroom skills and water rescue activities · 2 year American Red Cross certificate in Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR/AED

Lifeguard Certification Renewal Class Course Fee - $125

Currently certified lifeguards with valid certification in Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED or those who have not expired by more than 30 days. This recertification option is for currently certified lifeguards to review skills including water rescues, CPR/AED and first aid skills.

Prerequisites: Provide proof of valid Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification

Pass the following swim test on the day of class:

500-yard swim using front crawl or breaststroke
2-minute tread using legs only
Retrieve a 10-lb dive weight from 7 ft deep, surface and swim 20 yds with the weight, using legs only and exit the pool without using a ladder within 100 seconds

Golf Fitness Program Instructor - Jim LaBuda Course Fee - $95

Golf fitness focuses on stretching and flexibility exercises to broaden range of movement that will enhance your strength and momentum which is essential in any golf swing. However, you don’t have to be a golfer to benefit. Class is open to anyone looking to gain or strengthen their mobility regardless of fitness level. Taught by a Certified Golf Teaching professional and a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a floor mat.

Young Engineers is a great way to spark interest in learning. It gives one an opportunity to question how or why things work and strive toward solutions (problem-solving), develop independent learning and improve building skills. It is a creative and fun environment in which to explore, discover and learn for all students from K-6th Grades.
