Mrs. Mikula

  • Mrs. Mikula teaches Art for UPK-6th grade at the elementary and middle schools. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Buffalo State College. Prior to that she attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Villa Maria College and received an associate's degree in Graphic Design. She decided to teach art because art connects to all subjects and is an exciting tool to inspire learning in all disciplines. She has taught at Holland for 30 years.

Mrs. Mikula cites her students’ excitement to learn as her favorite thing about teaching at Holland. When she is not at school, Mrs. Mikula enjoys working with animals. She trains dogs for agility competitions. She also enjoys horseback riding and volunteering at a wildlife rehab facility here in WNY.
