I teach Special Education and Social Studies at Holland High School. In my life I have had several influential teachers who inspired me to help others through education. I began my college education at U.B. in engineering but quickly realized that my passion was the teaching of history. I transferred to Buffalo State where I graduated with a bachelor's degree. Upon completion I attended D'Youville College and received my master's degree in Adolescent Education. After a year of teaching English in South Korea, I returned o the United States and finished my Special Education certification courses through D'Youville College and Medaille College. I have also recently completed me Advanced Certificate in School Administration from Buffalo State College. I am proud to have taught at Holland for 5 years and I have 14 years of teaching experience, as well as numerous non-teaching postions.

My favorite thing about Holland is the faculty, staff and students I get to work with, who make every day an adventure worth having. Away from school, I have a 7 year old daughter and a 3.5 year old son. I enjoy reading, playing video games, bike riding, exercising and spending time with my family. I also offer my services, to help students with Tourettes Syndrome, to any and all students who may need them.
