Mrs. Fildes teaches grades 5 and 7 special education at Holland Middle School. She received her bachelor’s degree and dual certification in Elementary (preK-6 grade) and Special Education (birth to age 21) from SUNY Geneseo. She holds a master’s degree from SUNY Buffalo state and has certification as a Literacy Specialist (birth- grade 12). This is her 17^th year at Holland. Mrs. Fildes became a teacher because she loves kids and enjoys seeing them learn and grow. She enjoys Holland because of the people. Her students are kind and hard-working. She describes her co-workers as top-notch and always willing to go the extra mile. Mrs. Fildes is also an alumna of Holland Central Schools
